Air Command
Combat Flight Simulator
Real theatres · Real terrain · Real weather
Air Command is a combat flight simulator built on one idea: the world should be real. Real mountains under your wings, real weather in your windscreen, a real sun and moon overhead, and a carrier deck that pitches and rolls with the swell while you try to land on it. Then someone locks you up with a surface-to-air missile.

What we're building
- 01
Real terrain, streamed
Most theatres are built from real elevation data and satellite imagery, streamed as you fly. Ridges, valleys, rivers, coastlines and airfields sit where they do on the map.
- 02
Weather that flies
Wind changes with altitude, gusts and turbulence shake the airframe, and a full catalogue of cloud types builds from fair-weather cumulus to thunderstorms with lightning and rain.
- 03
The real sky
The sun, moon and stars are placed from real astronomy in each theatre's own time zone, so dawn patrols, dusk landings and night sorties are lit by a sky that's where it should be.
- 04
Carrier operations
Launch off the catapult and bring it back to a deck that moves in a real seaway. Seven carriers, from supercarriers to a Soviet-era cruiser-carrier.
- 05
Weapons and countermeasures
Guns, missiles with seekers, targeting pods and laser designation, and flares and chaff when the radar warning receiver starts to sing. Choose your loadout before you take off.
- 06
Integrated air defences
Surface-to-air missile sites work together as networks, friend-or-foe interrogation separates allies from threats, and AI commanders fight back.
- 07
Helicopters are their own game
A dedicated rotor flight model with ground effect and vortex ring state, plus attack helicopter gun and rocket passes. Hovering is hard, as it should be.
- 08
Cinematic launch films
Every launch opens with a short film shot in the engine — dusk departures, dawn formations and a low-level canyon strike — dealt in a random order.
Fly where it happened
The theatres start close to home and reach outward. Each has its home airbase, surrounding airfields, cities, roads, landmarks and air defence sites placed from survey.
- 01Islamabad and Rawalpindi — the Margalla and Murree hills, Rawal Lake and the twin cities.
- 02Karachi and the Makran coast — open sea, islands and a carrier offshore.
- 03Skardu and Gilgit-Baltistan — a high-altitude runway ringed by some of the highest mountains on Earth.
- 04Peshawar — the north-west frontier and the approaches to the Khyber.
- 05The Arabian peninsula — a 1,500 km theatre of desert, mountains and airbases.
- 06The Cascades — the canyons of the Pacific Northwest, for a very low-level strike.
- 07Canyon Valley and Highland Fjords — fictional practice ranges for learning the aircraft.
Where it stands
The flight model, weather, theatres, carrier operations and combat systems are in. We're now building what turns a simulator into a game: graded landings and debriefs, a pilot logbook, missions and multiplayer.
Air Command isn't available to download yet. Platforms, dates and playtests will be announced here first.
